RALEIGH CO, WV - A vehicle was stolen from a gas station on Thursday while the owner was inside paying for gas.

A customer of the Little General convenience store in Crab Orchard, WV left her vehicle parked at the gas pump while she paid for gas inside, and left her daughter in the vehicle. While she was inside, Keith Hatfield, 25, from Pineville, WV and Sebrina Rowe, 27, from Bartley, WV, entered and stole her vehicle. The nine year old girl was startled and jumped from the vehicle. Hatfield and Rowe drove off in the victim’s vehicle.

Following the theft, a “Be on the Lookout” for the victim’s vehicle was issued in Raleigh and surrounding counties. Later that night, Deputy Tommy Blankenship of the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Department located the vehicle in Maben, Wyoming County. Hatfield was operating the vehicle and Rowe was riding in the passenger seat. Both were charged with Grand Larceny, Conspiracy, and Assault During the Commission of A Felony. Additionally, Hatfield was found to have outstanding warrants for Robbery 2nd Degree, and Felony Escape out of Wyoming County.
