Organizers are ready to rock Second Chance concert

Bluefield, WV (WVVA)-More than 14, 000 people are expected to show up on Saturday for the Second Chance Rocks the Two Virginias concert.

Erik Robinson, Executive Director of Second Chance, tells us organizing the event is like putting together a giant puzzle. He says five tractor trailer loads of equipment will be coming in tomorrow along with seven tour buses.

"We always see this as a community fundraiser, not just a second chance fundraiser. I think it is a great thing for the community and something the community can be proud of. A lot of times we have to go out of the area to get something like this. All of our friends from out of the area are coming back to Bluefield to participate in this, “says Erik Robinson.

Robinson says the concert will end before 10 pm.

Of course the show features Gage, Clare Dunn, the Chris Land Band, Nelly, and headliners Florida Georgia Line.
The gates open at 1 pm.
