South Team Ready For All-Star Clash

Posted:
INSTITUTE, W.Va. (WVVA) -- The best football players in West Virginia are all set for the annual North-South Football Classic this weekend in Charleston.

The south team is lead by Greenbrier West head coach Lewis McClung and says all of the players have tremendous talent.

"These guys are all-starts, they're players," said McClung. "They're extremely well coached and due to the fact that they're so well coached, it's easy to get stuff in."

Most of these guys have already decided where they're playing college football, but for who haven't it's a great opportunity to get out in front of college coaches.

"It's good, it's been a great experience," said former Oak Hill standout Jalen Jones. "You can play offense and do what you do. It's great."

The game is set for Saturday at Laidley Field in Charleston.
