Boster Impressive As Miners Win Third Straight

Posted:
BECKLEY, W.Va. (WVVA) -- The West Virginia Miners finally got some pop in their bats, hitting their first homerun of the year and scoring four runs against Lorain County, Tuesday night. That was more than enough for Chase Boster.

Lorain County broke up Boster's no hitter with one out in the 8th inning. Before that base hit, no one could touch the man from Marshall. He dominated each inning, even an inning that saw a pair of hitters reach bases.

The 4-0 win gave the Miners their third-straight win. Now the Miners hit the road for a four-game series against Champion City. They'll be back at home, Sunday.
