Help sought in identifying break-in suspect

PRINCETON (WVVA) - Authorities are seeking the public's help in identifying a suspect sought in connection with a string of break-ins in one Mercer County community.

Dep. W.E. Rose with the Mercer County Sheriff's Office says the man pictured was captured on surveillance video in the Quail Valley community near Princeton.

The man is sought in connection with multiple break-ins that occurred in the area last week. He is believed to be a white male, approximately 6 feet tall with a slender build. He was wearing jeans and a hoodie on the night of the break-ins.

Rose says one house, one garage, more than five outbuildings and six vehicles were broken into. The break-ins are believed to have occurred between the night of Wednesday, June 11 and the morning of Thursday, June 12.
