PRINCETON (WVVA) - A man accused of sexually abusing children under the guise of "magical powers" was back in court Thursday.

James Irvin requested a bond reduction before Judge William Sadler. His $100,000 bond was not lowered, but changed from cash-only to surety.

If Irvin makes bond, he will be restricted to home confinement and is to have no contact with the victims in the case or other children.

It's unclear at this time if Irvin will be able to make bond. Irvin's attorney said Thursday that his client has limited means.

Irvin told WVVA News Thursday that he is not guilty. He had nothing further to say about his alleged actions.

In April 2014, Irvin was arrested on multiple counts of sex crimes against children. The criminal complaint revealed bizarre details of the alleged abuse, which occurred under the guise of Pagan/Wiccan rituals -- of which Irvin was a follower.
