State police uncover marijuana and prescription drugs at area home

NAOMA (WVVA) - A Raleigh County man is arrested after police find a variety of drugs at his residence.

West Virginia State Police executed a search warrant at the residence of Terry Miller, in Naoma, Raleigh County to further an ongoing drug investigation on Thursday, May 27.

Officers found 1.6 lbs. of marijuana, and several prescription medications including oxycodone, morphine, and hydrocodone. They also seized 15 firearms and other material related to drug trafficking.

The total cash value of controlled substances recovered was $11,000.

More than $15,000 in U.S. currency was also taken from the Miller residence.

Miller was arrested and charged with delivery of a controlled substance and possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance.
