BLUEFIELD, Va. (WVVA) -- Cumberland University has one of the best pitching staffs in all of NAIA and they showed their strength against Bluefield, Saturday.

Cumberland swept the Rams at Bowen Field, winning game one 11-1 and game two, 4-2. BC won the series' opening game 6-5.

The Rams have three more games remaining in the regular season and need to win as many as possible. The middle of the Mid-South Conference is incredibly tight and each win is crucial when it comes to seeding the conference tournament.

Bluefield travels to Campbellsville next weekend for their final regular-season series.
