MULLENS (WVVA) - A man was arrested in Mullens after pulling a large knife and fighting with police -- apparently as part of a 'code of honor among skinheads,' according to a news release from the Mullens Police Department.

Jonathan Logan Jackson was charged with two counts of battery on a police officer, obstructing and assault. He was arrested by Chief Ray Toler and Assistant Chief Jack Meadows.

All three were treated for injuries by Jan Care Ambulance Service.

According to the news release, Jackson stated "he had to fight the police" because "it was a code of honor among skinheads not to go without fighting, and the he could now obtain colors for bringing blood and fighting with police."

Jackson also had a warrant for destruction of property and had just gotten off home confinement three days prior to the incident.

He was booked into Southern Regional Jail on $4,500 bond.
