Wyoming County officials prepare to clean up dump site

(WVVA)- Wyoming County officials are preparing to clean up the last major dump site within the county.

The site is located up Huff Mountain, and county officials have already gotten a head start by removing recyclable items and selling them to raise money for the cleanup.

This operation is all part of the county's annual "Make it Shine" program.

County commissioners hope that the cleanup will also deter people from littering.

County Commissioner Silas Mullins tells us that the cleanup should begin around the beginning of May and will wrap up by the end of June.
