WVU Defeats Baylor With Walk-off Double

Posted:
CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WVVA) -- WVU was cruising until they needed the last three outs. Sometimes, those last three are the hardest of the 27 to get. The Mountaineers were leading 7-2 but gave up five runs in the last inning and had to go to extras against Baylor.

Jackson Cramer made sure they didn't leave with a loss. Cramer smacked a double off the left centerfield wall and Jacob Rice came in to score, giving WVU the 8-7 win.

The win opens WVU's Big 12 campaign in the best way possible. It's the first game of three at Charleston's Appalachian Power Park.
