Courtney Clark

Courtney Clark returns to her hometown of Princeton, WV, to assume the position of evening anchor for WVVA-TV. She grew up watching WVVA News and is excited to continue her career in journalism at the No. 1 station in the two Virginias.

She comes to WVVA from the Lowcountry, where she most recently worked for another NBC-affiliate. She got her start in journalism at The Register-Herald in Beckley, WV, and moved on to serve as a reporter and anchor in Ghent, WV, before moving to Charleston.

Courtney has won awards from the West Virginia Press Association and was recognized by Concord University as the 2012 Young Alumnus of the Year for outstanding achievements and service.

Away from the newsroom, she enjoys spending time with friends and family. In addition to being an avid reader, yoga junkie and travel enthusiast, she spends a great deal of time volunteering with the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

Courtney is excited to pursue her dream in her hometown and meet more people in the community. Feel free to send her news tips on Facebook or Twitter.
