PRINCETON (WVVA) - The case against a Mercer County man accused of fatally shooting another outside a Princeton nightclub last fall will be bound to the next sitting of the grand jury.

Morisettie Leggett appeared before Magistrate Flanigan for a preliminary hearing Monday morning.

Flanigan found probable cause after hearing testimony from lead investigator Cpl. Murphy with the Mercer County Sheriff's Office.

Leggett is accused of shooting 35-year-old David Bailey multiple times outside Club Maximus in Princeton in the early morning hours of Sunday, Dec. 8, 2013.

According to the criminal complaint filed at the time of the incident, Bailey was shot five times by a .38 caliber handgun.

Leggett told police he shot Bailey following a dispute between the two, the complaint states.

Family members for both the suspect and victim were in attendance at Monday's hearing.

WVVA's Kristen Conner spoke with Bailey's mother. Hear what she had to say this evening on WVVA News.
