Princeton, WV- The Renaissance Rocks marathon concert scheduled for this Saturday, March 8 from 3pm-11pm, will be held at The Turnaround Concert & Gathering Hall at 855 Mercer Street. The location has changed due to continual renovation of The Renaissance Theater. The show will feature 6 bands, local favorites Ricks & Freddy Modad, Clinton Collins, Margo And-the Bluegills, The Holli Brothers Band and Melissa McKinney, who are all graciously donating their time for the cause. BBQ will be available for purchase, and live music will run all day.

Greg Puckett of The Princeton Renaissance Project says, "We are excited about putting together a concert series of this magnitude in a facility like The Turnaround. It will provide an intimate yet exciting venue for Renaissance Rocks."

All proceeds from the concert will go towards the renovation of the old Royal/Lavon theater, newly christened "The Renaissance." Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for students. Kids 5 & under are free. The Turnaround is located at 855 Mercer Street, across from Princeton Town Square, just two doors down from the theater.

The PRP is working on multiple projects downtown currently including a lighting project which is outfitting storefronts with LED lights. The murals will be complete by late spring, and a community garden is on the way along with new planters, benches and more. Enhanced police presence is a continued priority along with positive activities for the whole family. Stay tuned for more information at princetonrenaissanceproject.org and for day to day postings, visit the PRP on facebook. Anyone with questions may call 304-425-6425.
