PRINCETON (WVVA) -- It's that sweet time of year again.  Girl Scout cookie deliveries are underway.

A huge truck load arrived at the Princeton Fire Department Saturday for area girl scouts to distribute.  They have been working to sell them since the beginning of January.

Depending on how many the girls sell, they get a badge for their hard work.

"It teaches them a lot of responsibility. It teaches them how to be a salesperson, how to be a financial planner," says Belinda Burkes, product sales, Princeton Girl Scouts.  "They set goals, they plan trips. All types of activities. They have a lot of activities they can do from Girl Scout cookie sales."

Cookie sales are down 26 percent this year, so the Girl Scouts are still looking for some extra support.  To find a cookie booth near you, head to https://www.bdgsc.org/cookies-and-more/Girl-Scout-Cookies/Cookie-Booth-Sales
