Police: Arrest 'Imminent' After Shots Fired in Wyoming County

Mullens (WVVA) -- Police say an arrest is imminent after a shooting in Wyoming County on Tuesday.

According to Chief Ray Toler, police were dispatched to a report of shots fired around 7:30a.m. on Early Street in Mullens.

Upon their arrival, he said officers found that a man with a gun had assaulted another man in the residence and that a woman in the home was also believed to be part of the altercation.

One person was taken to Raleigh General Hospital.

The Mullens Police Dept. is handling the investigation.
