Water distribution centers reopen three weeks after spill

Posted:

CHARLESTON (WVVA) -- Water is available for those who were affected by the West Virginia chemical spill once again.

Bottled water is being handed out at several volunteer fire departments, and a water tanker is up and running at a mall in Elkview.

This is all happening as concerns linger about the safety of the water supply, after the January 9 chemical leak.

Since then, there have been reports of MCHM, formaldehyde and other chemicals in the water.
