Beckley, WV– The Humane Society of Raleigh County will hold its 1st Annual Furball semi-formal event at Black Knight Country Club in Beckley on Friday, February 14, 2014. Beginning at 7pm on Valentine's Day, the cocktail party style event will include a silent auction and is an effort by the Humane Society to raise funds for basic necessities for homeless animals at the shelter as well as increase public awareness of its efforts.
 
Individual tickets are $50 per person and can be purchased at the Humane Society of Raleigh County located at 325 Grey Flats Road, Beckley, WV 25801 or Harvey's Wig Villa and Beauty Salon located at 117 Plaza Mall, Beckley, WV 25801.
 
Business sponsorship opportunities are available at all levels. Sponsors already enlisted include Delta Electric, W.C. Hydraulics, Mabscott Supply, Brickstreet, United Central Industrial Supply, Eckley Orthodontics, Jay Roles Floral, Myrleen Fairchild and Jack Fairchild.
