The McDowell County Sheriff's Department has arrested a fourth person in connection with an attack in Wyoming County.

Investigators say three men broke into Robert Noon's house  in Mullens and beat him almost to death, and a fourth suspect was also involved. 

Friday, that suspect-- Joyce Ann Lambert of Mullens-- was arrested and charged in the investigation after police say she stole Noon's car, failed to pay for gas from an area service station, and then wrecked the vehicle on McGraw's Road in Saulsville the night of the alleged attack. 

Lambert faces charges of conspiracy, grand theft auto, and harassing phone calls. 

She was out on bond for felony grand larceny and failure to appear when she was arrested in Welch.

MULLENS (WVVA) - A third person has been arrested in connection with the severe beating of a Wyoming County man inside his home.

Travis Lafferty was arrested Wednesday afternoon by the Mullens Police, with assistance from the Oceana PD and Wyoming County Sheriff's Office.

Lafferty, of Glen Rogers, was arrested at his girlfriend's apartment. He faces charges of  attempted murder, malicious wounding, burglary and conspiracy to commit a felony.

Lafferty joins Devin Fuller and Cyphelas Fuller in being charged with the incident that occurred Monday night at the Mullens home of Robert Noon.

Police say the suspects broke into Noon's home and attacked him. Police found him hours later with a fractured skull, three broken ribs and severe swelling and bleeding.

At last report, Noon was in intensive care at Charleston Area Medical Center.

Mullens Police Chief Ray Toler says a fourth person is still being sought in connection with the incident.

MULLENS (WVVA) - A Wyoming County man is in intensive care and two others are behind bars, charged with attempted murder.

Devin N. Fuller, 22, of Pineville and Cyphelas R. Fuller, 47, of Glen Rogers have both been arrested by the Mullens P.D. in connection with an incident at the home of Robert Noon, according to a news release from Police Chief Ray Toler.

Devin Fuller faces charges of attempted murder, malicious wounding, burglary and conspiracy to commit a felony. Cyphelas Fuller is charged with attempted murder, burglary and malicious wounding.

Bond was set at $50,000 each. Both were transported to Southern Regional Jail.

Noon was transported to Raleigh General Hospital, and later transferred to Charleston Area Medical Center where he was in intensive care.

Police are looking for a third subject in the incident.

Further details of the incident are not known at this time.
