Summers County Girls Stay Unbeaten With Win Over James Monroe

HINTON, W.Va (WVVA) -- Summers County continues to impress in "AA" girls basketball. The Bobcats beat James Monroe for the second time this year 71-55, Friday night.

Summers County is now 7-0 behind an impressive offense and oppressive defense. Whitney Justice led the Bobcats again Friday, scoring 19 points. There was plenty of offensive balance: Brandy Morrison had 17, Brittney Justice has 12.

Meanwhile, the struggles continue for the Mavericks who are still looking for their first win. James Monroe drops to 0-6. They host Pikeview on Monday. Summers County travels to Princeton the same night.
