UPDATE: Donations being collected for family left homeless by fire

RONCEVERTE (WVVA) - Loved ones and local community members are collecting donations for a Greenbrier County family who lost everything in a house fire Tuesday.

Six family members were living in the home at the time. They are currently staying in a motel provided by the Red Cross.

The family is in need of monetary donations along with clothing items. Donations can be taken to Kmart in Fairlea. The family has also set up a bank account at First National Bank of Ronceverte for monetary donations.

The family is in need of the following sizes:

-Girls size 12-14 clothing, with size 12 shoes

-Boys size 5T clothing with a size 13 or 1 shoe

-Clothing and diapers for twins age 12 months old

-Women's XL or 2-XL shirts, size 12 shoes and size 18-20 pants

-Men's XL shirts, pants size 36/30 or 38/30 with size 11 shoes

The fire started around 2 p.m. off of River Road in Ronceverte. No one was injured in the blaze.

RONCEVERTE (WVVA) - A Greenbrier County family escaped injury Tuesday after their home went up in flames.

The fire occurred Tuesday afternoon at the home on River Road in Ronceverte.

Multiple departments responded to the scene. The home was a total loss.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
