Beat Up Beckley Needs Games

BECKLEY, W.Va (WVVA) -- The injury bug can haunt teams for entire seasons but for the Woodrow Wilson Flying Eagles, the injury bug is moving from sport to sport. The Beckley basketball team is dealing with some lingering injuries that hurt the football team in 2013.

Beckley lost to Greenbrier East 62-49 Saturday night with one of their best players on the bench. Donte Nabors was injured in the win over Oak Hill the week before and was unable to go against the Spartans.

Beckley is also still early in their season. While most teams are 5, 6 or 7 games in their year, the Flying Eagles have only played three games: all of which were against good teams.

Woodrow travels to St. Albans, Tuesday - weather permitting. They're back home against Spring Valley two days later.
