Shady Spring Beats Independence

COAL CITY, W.Va (WVVA) -- Shady Spring boys basketball is off to a hot start. They defeated Independence 73-52, Thursday night. It was the late game in the opening night of the Little General Classic. 

The Tigers are now 3-0, after starting off the season with wins against Summers County and Princeton. 

Meanwhile, Independence is at the other end of the spectrum. The Patriots are off to the worst start possible with three blowout losses to Liberty and Westside. They are now 0-3.
