Posted:

CHARLESTON, W.Va (WVVA) -- Brandon Watkins rewarded WVU head coach Bob Huggins' faith during the Mountaineers' game against Marshall, Saturday. Watkins had played two total minutes over the previous two games but got another chance against The Herd and he didn't disappoint.

Watkins played 25 minutes off the bench and sparked WVU to a 74-64 comeback win. He had a double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds, which includes three crucial offensive boards that led to points.

With the win, WVU moves to 7-4. They have seven days off until they hit the floor again. They host Purdue Sunday, December 22.
