Herd's Struggles At Foul Line Contribute To Loss

Posted:

CHARLESTON, W.Va (WVVA) -- During Tom Herrion's post-game press conference, he ended his opening statements with "Gosh, dang it," perfectly summing up Marshall handing a victory to West Virginia, Saturday night.

The Herd led the game for 37 minutes but gave it all back in the final three. Marshall had many issues but the one that stands out the most is the team's struggles from the foul line. Marshall was 10-24 from the charity stripe for 41 percent. They lost by 10 points.

The Herd moves to 4-6 overall. They're back in action at home, Tuesday night, against Alice Lloyd College.
