LOGAN (WVVA) - The Logan County Sheriff's Department is currently seeking a man convicted of sex crimes against children who has removed his GPS monitoring unit.

Kelly Gerald Crosby, 31, was last seen at the Harvest Pine Homeless Shelter in Charleston around 1 p.m. Wednesday.

Crosby is in post-release supervision for the crime of using minors in filming sexually explicit conduct. Probation officers say Crosby has cut off his GPS monitoring unit.

Crosby is described as 5'6", 300 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. He has a tattoo on his left shoulder that says 'OLIN RIP,' one on his left arm of a smiley face, a tattoo on his left and right leg that say 'K.C.' and a letter 'V' on his left ring finger.

He is considered to be dangerous. If you have any information on his whereabouts, contact your local authorities.
