SLIDESHOW: Multiple vehicle rollovers reported on slick roads

PRINCETON (WVVA) - Emergency crews responded to at least three separate vehicle rollovers along highways in the Two Virginias Wednesday.

Interstate 77 was closed near mile marker 7 -- between Princeton and Bluefield -- shortly after 3 p.m. when a pair of vehicles flipped.

It's unclear exactly what caused the two vehicles to lose control and flip within feet of each other. Mercer County 911 dispatch said there were no serious injuries.

Investigators could not be reached for further detail.

About the same time, a Jeep Liberty flipped on Price Hill, near the Raleigh-Fayette border.

One woman was trapped inside and later transported to Raleigh General Hospital in critical condition.

Earlier in the morning, a black sedan flipped on its top along Johnstown Road in Beckley. Dispatchers said one driver was taken to the hospital with a leg injury.
