MULLENS (WVVA) - A third person has been arrested in a two-year-old murder case that has spanned from Summers to Wyoming County.

Linda Combs has been arraigned on a charge of conspiracy to commit murder in connection with the slaying of James "Bo" Butler, according to Trooper Reed with the Hinton detachment of the West Virginia State Police.

Police tell WVVA that Linda Combs was not present when Butler was murdered.

Butler went missing in 2011 on his way to work from his Summers County home to Wyoming County. His body was found weeks later in off Crumpler Road in Herndon.

Linda Combs is the mother of Oscar Combs Jr. and the ex-wife of Oscar Combs Sr., who have each been charged with first-degree murder in Butler's death.

Linda Combs is being held at Southern Regional Jail on $20,000 bond.

Reed said the Mullens Police Department assisted in Linda Combs' arrest.
