Students perform anti-bully rap

Brushfork, W.Va.--Students at Brushfork Elementary have come up with a cool way to spread the anti-bully message.

It's called the "Bengal Character Rap."

At the beginning of the school year, teams of fourth and fifth graders were urged to come up a new skit and rap that builds character and discourages bullying. The winning team performs the rap at school functions and is heard every school day over the intercom.

"We try to represent it down here for the kindergartners through fifth grade to stop other people from bullying here and then once they move up to the middle school they can prevent bullying," says fourth grader Elijah Terry.

The winning team was picked by classmates and selected school staff.
