Westbound lanes on I-64 in Raleigh County are expected to re-open around four a.m.

UPDATE 
RALEIGH (WVVA) - Westbound lanes on I-64 in Raleigh County are expected to re-open around 4:00 Thursday morning after being closed due to a rockslide.

The West Virginia Department of Transportation and Raleigh County dispatchers say the rockslide occurred at 12:45 Thursday morning at mile marker 136. This is near the Sandstone exit.

The rockslide caused no accidents or injuries.

Crews are on scene cleaning up the rockslide.

Although the anticipated time for these lanes to re-open is 4:00, drivers should be aware that it may take longer.

(WVVA) – Westbound lanes on I-64 in Raleigh County are closed as of 12:45 Thursday morning due to a rockslide.

The rockslide happened occurred at mile marker 136. This is near the Sandstone exit.

Dispatches say all three westbound lanes are closed.

It is unclear when those lanes will re-open.
