BECKLEY (WVVA) - A Raleigh County mother has pleaded guilty to charges of child abuse resulting in serious injury and child neglect stemming from her 2010 arrest after her 6-year-old daughter was found weighing only 19 pounds.

Sabrina Smith will serve 2-30 years under home confinement following her guilty plea in Raleigh County Circuit Court Wednesday.

According to previous WVVA.com reports, Smith and a roommate were initially charged after the child was rushed to a hospital in Sept. 2010 after she stopped breathing. She weighed only 19 pounds at the time.

Previous testimony alleged that Smith had isolated the child, strapped her to a car seat, and did not regularly feed her.

Custody of all of Smith's six children has been taken away.
