Chief: 3rd child dies after W.Va. house fire

ELKINS, W.Va. (AP) -- Elkins Fire Chief Tom Meader says a third child has died of burns suffered during an early morning house fire.
He tells media outlets that the 2-year-old who succumbed to injuries at the West Penn Burn Center on Tuesday was the twin of another child who died there Monday.
Authorities say a 4-year-old died at the scene, and five other people were injured.
The state Fire Marshal's Office and the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives are investigating the cause of the blaze.
Meader says the fire apparently blocked the family's exits.
Investigators found a smoke detector, but it had no batteries.
