NEW YORK (AP) -- A New York City woman has harsh words for the rapist who victimized her when she was 73 years old and watching birds in Central Park.

The woman called David Albert Mitchell a "sexual terrorist" as he was sentenced Wednesday to 30 years in prison. She described the attack and injuries including a damaged jaw and told Mitchell: "May you rot in hell for all eternity."

Mitchell pleaded guilty this month to raping and robbing her in September 2012. The 43-year-old Mitchell is from Jenkinjones, W.Va., and has a long criminal record.

It includes being charged with but not convicted of sexually assaulting two women over age 70. He also went to prison in the abduction of an ex-girlfriend.

The Associated Press generally does not identify sexual assault victims unless they come forward publicly.
