NORTH PAGE (WVVA) - Police are seeking a trio of suspects after a Fayette County man is allegedly beaten in his home and left without a truck.

Sheriff's deputies responded to reports of a stolen vehicle at the home of Donald Walker on Deep Water Mountain Road in the North Page area Saturday evening.

Deputies say a female acquainted with Walker came to the residence to speak with him when two males forced entry into the home, beat Walker with wooden clubs and demanded money.

The female allegedly took the keys to Walker's Chevrolet Colorado while the two males left the scene in a silver Dodge Neon.

Walker was treated at Plateau Medical Center for several lacerations to his head.

The stolen truck was recovered in the Page area the following day.

Police say deputies have identified the suspects and expect to obtain warrants for their arrest this week.

The incident remains under investigation.
