JASPER, Ala. (AP) -- A West Virginia woman charged with concealment of a dead body in the disappearance of two Walker County, Alabama women has been extradited to Alabama.
Wanda Kiser arrived at the Walker County airport in Jasper, Ala. Wednesday afternoon and was led from the plane in a wheelchair. She was later taken to the county jail.
In August, police found the bodies of the two women inside 61-year-old Kiser's rented storage unit in West Virginia.
Alabama authorities issued a warrant for Kiser's arrest in early July on 10 counts of forgery. Kiser was found guilty of cashing retirement checks belonging to 105-year-old Mary Cobb and 84-year-old Wynona Delvecchio, both of Jasper.
Alabama authorities have said Kiser checked the women out of a nursing home in 2000.
