Girls soccer roundup

PRINCETON (WVVA) - The Princeton Tigers saw a two-game winning streak come to an end at hands of Woodrow Wilson Tuesday.

The Tigers got on the board first on an Amanda Barrett goal, but the Eagles answered almost immediately as Rebecca Cook drills a shot off the underside of the crossbar.

Elizabeth Gramling would give Woodrow the lead for good, with a shot to the bottom corner. The Flying Eagles would go on to win 3-1.

In other area action, the PikeView girls picked up their second win in a row, defeating the girls from Bluefield 4-0 Tuesday in Gardner.

On the college pitch, the girls from Bluefield College fell to visiting Barton University in overtime, 2-1.

The game was tied for much of regular time when BC's Jesse Newman found the top corner of the goal.
