Princeton hopes to build on tough Week 3 loss

PRINCETON (WVVA) - The Princeton Tigers are heading into week four of the high school football season hoping to bounce back from last Friday's nail-biter loss to Capital.

Princeton came up just short in last week's 28-27 overtime loss in Charleston last week. Head Coach Randy Peek says he is proud of the way his team battled and hopes to build on the loss.

"They've got to put that behind them," Peek said of the loss. "We're telling them how proud we are of them. We still have a long season... we can still go 9-1. That's what we're telling the kids."

Princeton, 2-1, plays at 2-1 Hurricane in Putnam County this week.
