UPDATE: Fayette County meth lab suspect arrested

MEADOW BRIDGE (WVVA) - A Meadow Bridge man wanted in connection with the operation of a meth lab has been arrested.

Matthew Dale Fox, 43, of Meadow Bridge was arrested Monday afternoon, after allegedly fleeing from police nearly a week earlier at the site of a meth lab operation in an abandoned building in the Meadow Bridge area.

Fox was arraigned and released on $1,500 bond.

The Fayette County Sheriff's Office says multiple tips through their website and Facebook page helped lead them to the suspect.

"The quick arrest in connection with this incident is directly attributable to the tips and leads that we received from the public," Sheriff Steve Kessler said.

MEADOW BRIDGE (WVVA) - The Fayette County Sheriff's Department is searching for a Meadow Bridge man believed to be connected to the operation of a meth lab.

On Tuesday, sheriff's deputies responded to reports of a meth lab being operated in the Meadow Bridge area.

Upon arrival at the scene, a male subject fled on foot. Deputies found a crude meth lab at the site inside an abandoned building.

On Thursday, deputies issued a warrant for Matthew Dale Fox, 43, of Meadow Bridge. Fox is described as a white male, 6'1", approximately 200 pounds with blue eyes and long dark hair and a receding hairline.

His last known residence was at 8665 Backus Road in Meadow Bridge.
