BEAVER (WVVA) - A Mercer County man who went from 'missing' to 'wanted' is now back in West Virginia -- behind bars.

Michael James Jarrett, 41, was booked at Southern Regional Jail Thursday after being extradited from Jacksonville, Fla., where he was arrested earlier this week.

Jarrett, of the Matoaka area, was initially reported missing in August after last being seen by his family in July.

Police changed Jarrett's status from 'missing' to 'wanted' after learning of fraud allegations.

He is being held without bond.
