BRADSHAW (WVVA) - Authorities in McDowell County have arrested five people in a drug roundup in the Bradshaw area, and say more are coming.
According to Sheriff Martin West, the following individuals -- including two husband and wife pairs -- were taken into custody during the Thursday morning sweep:
Arvel Lee Hagerman, 74, and his wife, Sharon Hagerman, 64, of Bradshaw were each charged with four counts of delivery of a Schedule III controlled substance and felony conspiracy.
Shannon Keith Mullins, 38, of Paynesville was charged with one count of delivery of a Schedule II controlled substance. Mullins was also wanted as a fugitive from Wythe County on drug-related charges.
Brian Keith Vance, 40, of Paynesville and his wife, Crystal Dawn Vance, 36, of Jolo were each charged with one count of delivery of a Schedule II controlled substance and felony conspiracy.
Chief Deputy Roger E. Deel said that there will be more drug arrests forthcoming in the area.
