Grundy man charged with stabbing two people

A man is in police custody after allegedly stabbing two people in Buchanan County.  One of the victims is in intensive care. 

Sheriff Ray Foster reports that on Sunday around 2:00 AM, Buchanan County 911 received a call that 30-year-old Billy Joe Justus of Grundy and 24-year-old Jessica Varney of Vansant had been stabbed at a home in the Looney's Creek section.

Arrested is 31-year-old Bo Travis Stacy of Grundy.
He's charged with two counts of malicious wounding and attempted murder.
He was taken to the Southwest Virginia Regional Jail in Haysi.

Billy Joe Justus has stab wounds to his back and chest area. He is in ICU and listed in stable condition at Pikeville Hospital in Pikeville, Kentucky.  Jessica Varney was also taken to Pikeville Hospital with stab wounds to her arm.   She was treated and released.
