HICO (WVVA) - The victims in Monday's deadly crash on Route 60 in Hico have been identified.

Police say Curtis Ray West, 35, and Randall Wilson, 37 -- both of Fayetteville -- died at the scene.

A third victim, Daniel Allen Smith, 32 -- also of Fayetteville -- was airlifted to Charleston where he was listed in stable condition.

Hico, WV (WVVA) - Two people are confirmed dead after a single vehicle accident in Hico.

Fayette County dispatchers responded to a call of a rollover around 2:30 Monday afternoon.

When crews arrived on scene, two out of the three people in the car were dead.  One had been ejected, the other entrapped. The third and surviving passenger, partially entrapped, was flown out to Charleston Area Medical Center.

Police say an ambulance spotted the small, blue Pontiac weaving in and out, passing cars.  When the driver tried to get back into the right lane, police say he overcorrected, hit the bank, flipped, went air-born and landed upside down.

Route 60 will be closed until police finish the investigation and clear the scene Monday evening.

"Excessive speed, absolutely [was a factor]," says Capt. Jim Sizemore, Fayette County Sheriff's Department.  "At this point we do not know if drugs or alcohol were a factor.  Won't know until we get a little farther into the investigation on that."

The names of the victims will not be released until all family has been notified.  No word on the surviving passenger's condition since being air-lifted to Charleston.
