50 New Jobs Added to Bland County

BLAND (WVVA) – W&B Fabricators, Inc., a manufacturer of mining machinery and equipment held a ribbon cutting ceremony Thursday morning for their new 3.1 million dollar facility in Bland County, Virginia.

The company which operated in Mercer County, West Virginia for more than 24 years will now provide 50 new jobs for the residents of Virginia.

"Bland County is an ideal location for us to relocate and expand our business," stated "Russ" Booth, Owner/President, W&B Fabricators, Inc. "This pro-business community with a workforce that's a perfect match for our needs."

The Virginia Economic Development Partnership worked with Bland County and Virginia's aCorridor on this project. Governor McDonnell approved a $100,000 grant from the Governor's Opportunity Fund to assist in the project. W&B also received $100,000 from Tobacco Region Opportunity Funds.
