PREVIEW: James Monroe eager to return to winning ways

LINDSIDE (WVVA) - James Monroe has had it tough the last two years, finishing both seasons with 2-8 records.

But now, under a new head coach and with a new attitude, the plowboys are looking to turn things around.

"It seems like we're learning every day," said coach John Mustain. "I feel like we have pretty good intensity which is always important when you play this game, you have got to be very intense."

The road back to a winning season won't be an easy one for the Mavs, who have Greenbrier East, Princeton and Bluefield on their schedule -- just to name a few.

But the players feel that as long as they continue to improve, they think they can turn some heads this season.
