UPDATE: Clinic at Beckley ARH closes temporarily

BECKLEY (WVVA) - Power could be restored by 1 p.m. Tuesday at Beckley Appalachian Regional Hospital, officials say.

The building lost power Saturday night due to a failed underground cable. Contractors who specialize in underground repairs are on site.

You're urged to call your individual doctor Wednesday morning to confirm any upcoming appointments or reschedule from the outage.

BECKLEY, W. Va (WVVA)-- The Southern West Virginia Clinic at Beckley Appalachian Regional hospital is temporarily closed due to a power outage.

The building first lost power Saturday night.

Now, hospital officials say it will be Wednesday morning before the clinic is up and running again.

AEP crews are on site trying to fix the problem.

You're urged to call your individual doctor Wednesday morning to confirm any upcoming appointments or reschedule from the outage.
