New coach takes helm at River View

BRADSHAW (WVVA) - It is the start of a new era at River View High
School -- the Raiders have a new man at the helm.

Gehrig Justice will be patrolling the sidelines after Mitch Estep's retirement a few weeks ago.

Estep had served as River View's coach since the school's inception, and was a longtime coach at Iaeger High, which consolidated with Big Creek to form River View.

Justice has been an assistant on the staff for the last few years. He will be joined this season by a mostly new staff.

Justice says the transition thus far has been smooth.

"The boys have had a great attitude, they've worked really hard," Justice said. "I've been more than pleased with their excitement."
