DRAPER Va. - Golfers from Graham High School will look to defend their crown at the 8th annual Draper Valley Prep Classic this week.

The tournament, held at the Draper Valley Golf Club, begins on Thursday at 8 a.m. and features 18 teams including defending champions Graham, Tazewell, Richlands, Giles, Princeton, Fort Chiswell, George Wythe, Chilhowie, Parry McCluer, Abingdon, Radford, Galax, Pulaski County, Northwood, Patrick Henry, Floyd County, Marion and Holston.

Graham returns all-tournament performer Ben Ramsey, while Princeton -- last year's runners-up by three strokes -- also returns a strong squad.

Individually, the tournament will feature Gunar Frazier of Giles High School.  Frazier was runner-up to Medalist John Bryant in the Virginia High School League 2012 State Championship.

Amanda Hollandsworth from Floyd County will also compete.  She finished 3rd in the 2012 State Championship.  Kory Wolson of Giles and Conrad Thacker of Holston had top 10 finishes at the 2012 State Championship and will play as well.
