Rays Walkoff Win Extends Win Streak To Four

Posted:

PRINCETON, W.Va. (WVVA) - Hunter Lockwood didn't want to play 11 innings of baseball. The Princeton Rays DH hit a walk-off home run to beat the Burlington Royals Friday night and extend the P-Rays' winning streak to a season-high four games.

Lockwood has been swinging a hot bat over the last few days. Friday's home run was this third of the season and the seventh home run by the Rays during the last three games.

The Rays are now 11-30 and 17 games behind the first-place Bluefield Blue Jays.
