Rays blow out Burlington


PRINCETON, W.Va (WVVA) -- There may be a new team playing baseball in Princeton. The Princeton Rays defeated the Burlington Royals 14-0, Thursday night, extending their win-streak to three games and breathing new life into a team at the bottom of the Appalachian League standings.

The Rays now have 10 wins this season and the three game streak is tied for the longest this year. The team is still 17 games behind the Bluefield Blue Jays in the East Division of the Appalachian League.

They resume their series against Burlington Friday night.
