Jays, Rays both lose


BLUEFIELD (WVVA) - The Bluefield Blue Jays' hot streak came to an end Monday, as the fell to the Danville Braves at home 5-1.

The Braves would score three in the second inning off the bats of Jacob Schrader and Justin Black.

The Jays would get one run back in the fourth, but that would be all.

Meanwhile, the Rays' woes continued on the road in Johnson City, as they gave up a run in the bottom of the eighth to lose 2-1 to the Cardinals.
